Job Description

Job Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue by promoting the resort's luxury accommodations, event venues, dining experiences, and leisure packages. The role focuses on building strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other business partners while achieving sales targets and enhancing the resort's market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, wedding planners, and event organizers.
  • Promote room bookings, meetings, conferences, weddings, and resort packages.
  • Conduct site inspections and resort presentations for prospective clients.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Negotiate rates and close sales while maintaining profitability.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the resort.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, reservations, front office, and operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using the company's CRM system.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in luxury hotels, resorts, or hospitality.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality and tourism industry.
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IHG systems or an international hotel brand.
  • Existing network of corporate, MICE, and travel industry contacts.
  • Understanding of luxury hospitality standards.
