Located at the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city Centre, Traders Hotel by Shangri-La is looking for a dynamic, passionate, and multi-skilled talent in delivering our Asian hospitality.

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Director of Sales

Job Summary: The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales by implementing action plans, managing client relationships, and maximizing revenue opportunities. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new business prospects and maintaining strong partnerships to support the companys growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implements all sales action plans related to his/her market areas as outlined in the marketing plan.
  • Executes account coverage to optimize business opportunities.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication channel.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skill to maximize hotel profit in all revenue producing areas.
  • Attend major travel and trade function as assigned.
  • Conducts daily sales calls and arrange familiarization/site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients.
  • Disseminates sales related information to other departments as appropriate.
  • Closely follows up with all business leads, assigned project or duties and advise immediate superior with job progress.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or Hotel Management.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in using office equipment.
