About The Team

You'll join a fast-moving sales team driving merchant acquisition for our food delivery platform. This is an entry-level role ideal for fresh grads or candidates with up to 12 years experience who are hungry to learn, grow, and hit targets.

Your main goal: sign up and activate F&B merchants in your assigned area and help them perform on ShopeeFood.

Job Description

What you'll do day-to-day:

  • Acquire and activate F&B merchants across your assigned areas (phone, online or facetoface) to meet outlet signup targets.
  • Prioritise highpotential outlets and explore underserved subareas for expansion.
  • Maintain and regularly update the sales funnel (pipeline hygiene, status updates, conversion notes) to ensure accurate forecasting and progress tracking.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all merchant paperwork, onboarding forms and reports.
  • Record and report on onground insights and merchant/competitor feedback (field observations, merchant needs, win/loss reasons), escalating actionable items to the team.
  • Identify competitor activity and recommend quickwin actions to protect and grow our presence.
  • Support account management and crossfunctional teams with handovers and merchants followthrough.

Requirements

What we're looking for must-haves:

  • Based in Johor.
  • SPM / Diploma (any field). Business, Commerce or Marketing is a plus.
  • Fresh grads or up to 12 years experience (sales, FMCG or telco preferred but not required).
  • Interest in e-commerce and digital payments.
  • Good presentation and basic business acumen.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Able to communicate in multiple languages, e.g., English, Malay, and Chinese.
  • Flexible to work on-ground during peak periods or as business needs require.
  • Most importantly: the right attitude eager to learn, coachable, resilient and target-driven.
