Proposed Job Scope - Sales Executive
Position Title: Sales Executive
Department: Sales / Business Development
Key Responsibilities :
- Promote and drive sales of the company's products and services, with a particular focus on the printing and ICT industry.
- Handle and manage procurement processes through the ePerolehan system.
- Prepare accurate costing and pricing for quotations, tenders, and project proposals.
- Handle customer inquiries, negotiations, and closing of sales.
- Build and maintain good relationships with clients through professional communication and service.
- Prepare, compile, and submit tender documentation in accordance with requirements.
- Follow up with clients on quotations, project status, and outstanding payments.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel as required for client meetings, site visits, and business development activities.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Identify and generate new business opportunities and leads.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Monitor market trends in the printing and ICT industry.
- Identify competitor activities and pricing strategies.
Key Requirements / Skills :
- Possess basic knowledge or relevant experience in the printing and ICT industry.
- Familiar with the ePerolehan system and government procurement processes.
- Able to prepare accurate costing and pricing calculations.
- Willing and able to travel when required.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Competent in handling sales documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks, including tender submissions.
Qualification Requirements :
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, Printing Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of procurement systems (e.g. ePerolehan) is an advantage.
- Experience in preparing costing, quotations, or tender documentation is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to travel for work when required.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
