Partner with the best

As aSales Experienced Professional -Proposals, your main responsibility will be to effectively handle customer inquiries for BRUSH Power Generation Generators and related equipment. You willbe responsible formanaging these inquiries and ensuring successful outcomes for the markets and geographical segments assigned to the department. Acting as a representative for internal stakeholders, your role will involvesupporting thesalesteamand meeting targets whilemaintaininga positive image for the company.

As aSales Experienced Professional- Proposalsyou willbe responsible for:

  • Effectivelyidentifyingand assessing the requirements of incoming enquiries within the remit of the role and ensuringappropriate actionand feedback is given.

  • Collating and evaluating the resource, material, third-party content, engineering, and production cost of tenders, ensuringappropriate approvaland sign off has been obtained.

  • Coordinating multiple business functions in both the UK and overseas to ensure deadlines are met, whilst ensuringan accurate, coherent proposal issubmittedto the customer.

  • Participating with Sales indiscussions withtheclient.

  • Minimising Company's exposure to liabilities.

  • Actively contributing towards continuous business and process improvement.

  • Managing operational aspects of a technical and commercial tender, preparingdocumentationfor handover to the projects team.

  • Assistingother members of the department with their workload during periods of holiday,sicknessor heavy overload.

  • Handlingstandardized products with pre-defined options requiring simple client advice.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a permanent right to work in Malaysia.This role does not have a budget to support sponsorship for visas or permits

  • Desirably, have HNC in Business Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

  • Desirably, belocatedwithin commuting distance of Kuala Lumpur or be willing to relocate

  • Have ability todemonstrateand / or show willingness to develop themselves asappropriate tothe job role

  • Have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Other languages may be beneficial

  • Highly computer literate with the ability tomaintainaccuraterecords

  • Have good organisational skills and smart working methods. Ability to prioritise own workload and that of tender team whereappropriate.

  • Have knowledge ofestimatingprinciples, techniques,practicesanddifferent typesof cost estimates

  • Have some years ofworkingexperience ina commercial environment, ideally in an aftermarket or Services-based role for rotating equipment
