Core Responsibilities
- Market Development: Deeply explore the Penang and Northern Malaysia markets, acquire new customers (key industries: semiconductor, electronics manufacturing services, automotive electronics, etc.), and formulate regional sales strategies.
- Customer Management: Build customer networks from the ground up, identify enterprise pain points in data collection, provide customized solutions, and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Product & Solution Promotion: Lead the full sales cycle of barcode printers, RFID and barcode labels, mobile data collection devices, and customized software (including demonstration, quotation, negotiation, and delivery).
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with the technical team to deliver professional proposals and drive customer requirements into executable solutions.
- Market Insights: Track Industry 4.0 trends, analyze competitor dynamics, and optimize localized sales strategies.
Requirements
- Industry Experience:
- Over 5 years of B2B product sales experience, with preference for those with sales experience in the electronics manufacturing industry (e.g., PCB factories, semiconductor packaging and testing companies).
- Experience in selling IoT hardware (sensors/collectors), industrial automation software, or enterprise information systems is a plus.
- Customer Network:
- Existing connections with decision-makers in procurement, IT, or supply chain are highly preferred.
- Technical Understanding:
- Ability to quickly understand how data collection technologies are applied in production traceability, warehouse management, and equipment monitoring.
- Language Skills:
- Fluent in Mandarin, English (technical documentation and business negotiation), and Malay.
