Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our sales team and drive revenue growth in Malaysia's energy sector. The successful candidate will develop and execute strategic sales plans, build strong client relationships, and expand our market presence in renewable and traditional energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets in Malaysia.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients, including government agencies, utility companies, and industrial clients.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiations, and contract agreements.
  • Collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure customer requirements are met effectively.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for executive management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Candidate Specific Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of sales experience in the energy sector, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysia's energy market, including renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro) and conventional power solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and lead a sales team.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Malay, Chinese Mandarin and other regional languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel domestically and regionally as needed.

Job Specific Skills:

  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, salesforce).
  • Technical understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, or energy management systems.
  • Strong network in the construction, property development, or manufacturing sectors.
