About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager (Technical Sales) to join our client's growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, managing strategic customer relationships, and leading the entire sales cycle from prospecting to project handover.
This opportunity is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a strong background in B2B Technical Sales, particularly within the equipment, engineering, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, customer engagement, proposal preparation, negotiation, purchase order (PO) closing, and production handover.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales objectives and business growth.
- Forecast sales performance, prepare territory plans, and monitor sales activities.
- Identify emerging markets and implement business development initiatives to expand market share.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline updates using CRM systems.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business updates for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Technical Sales, preferably within the equipment, industrial, engineering, or manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record in business development, account management, and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of technical products and the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
