The Role

Are you a high-impact sales leader with a reputation for closing massive digital transformation deals We are seeking a Sales Manager to join a leading System Integrator. In this role, you will be responsible for selling a comprehensive technology stack to key customers and assigned industries within the Malaysia market.

This is a high visibility, hunter position (Individual Contributor). You will lead deal pursuits, focusing on securing new accounts and driving significant up-selling within existing portfolios. You aren't just selling services; you are building the business case for the future of your clients IT landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Complex Pursuits: Act as the primary lead for deal teams, representing the firm to the customer for large-scale local and international opportunities.
  • Orchestrate Resources: Assemble and coordinate the necessary skills and resources to develop winning proposals and meet all deal milestones.
  • Value Proposition: Develop and substantiate a compelling value proposition that addresses the customer's critical business drivers, risks, and ROI.
  • Solution Endorsement: Validate and endorse technical solutions, collaborating closely with delivery teams to ensure the proposed design is executable and sustainable.
  • Expert Negotiation: Lead negotiations for large, complex deals, comfortably navigating value-based pricing discussions where the firm provides premium, high-impact solutions.
  • Strategic Transition: Manage the transition of deal leadership to permanent management to ensure a seamless transfer of assets, personnel, and technology.

Education & Experience Required

  • The Track Record: Typically, 10 -15+ years of experience in a complex IT service business environment. You must have successfully managed 3–5 large-scale managed services, applications, or analytics deals.
  • Academic Background: University or Bachelor's degree; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
  • Industry Mastery: Deep, comprehensive knowledge of multiple IT domains and a strong understanding of business management principles and practices.
  • Core Knowledge & Skills
  • Strategic Advisory: Capable of partnering with clients to develop their high-level IT strategy and long-term digital roadmap.
  • Market Presence: An extensive, well-established network of industry partners and customers within Singapore.
  • Commercial Acumen: Expertise in opportunity qualification, risk assessment, and navigating complex consultative customer proposals.
