RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key role of sales development in Southeast Asia.
- Manage distributors/partners in the region on both commercial and operational level.
- Prepare national promotions to be aligned across the countries in terms of mechanism and launching date (Back to School, New Year, Festive Season, etc).
- Set up retail planograms for distributors to implement in stores so that shelves look unified across different stores and different countries.
- Make sure distributors have correct marketing material and pack shots for trade marketing and e-commerce apps to be updated and unified.
- Collect and analyze data from distributors system and from store visits in terms of brand performance and competition activities.
- Communicating on weekly basis all distributors to discuss challenges, opportunities, sales, supply chain and marketing info.
- Working with our partners to achieve target.
- Compile monthly report from the market.
KNOWLEDGE AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
- Role will be based in Kuala Lumpur and travel will be required.
- Possess at least a Degree Holder preferably in Management/ Marketing/ Mass Communication/ Business Administration or equivalent
- At least 5+ years of experience with good track record in brand / product management & marketing field both above the line and below the line activities in FMCG business with proven track record in launching successful campaigns, building brands and gaining sustainable market share.
- Experiences in execution, hands-on to develop, lead, motivate and enhance the skills of a team of managers and executives.
- Positive attitude with ability to develop and drive strategy for brands.
- Able to think out of the box, push the boundaries, be creative with curiosity, have an explorative mindset to generate ideas and solve problems.
- Good experience of brand and product Management, product launches/relaunches, large scale campaign management, planning and budgeting and implementation of A&P activities.
- Experience in handling large and complex brand with multiple segments / portfolios.
- Proactive, resourceful, detail oriented, well-organized, self-directed, able to thrive in high-pressure situations and meeting deadlines.
- Able to perform tasks independently and a self-starter, dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-driven team player.
- Nurture and create a team of dynamic brand personnel.
- Good listening, verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and result oriented.
