About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur. As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the hotel's sales and revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies. This full-time position is based in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

· Developing and implementing comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets

· Prospecting and building relationships with new clients and maintaining strong partnerships with existing ones

· Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event organisers

· Negotiating and closing sales deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction

· Analysing market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies

· Preparing and presenting sales proposals and reports to senior management

· Mentoring and leading a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support

· Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments to deliver exceptional customer experiences

What we're looking for

· Proven track record of success in a sales management role within the hospitality industry

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients

· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics

· Proficient in sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a customer-centric approach

· Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask

· Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
