Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Channel Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share for water pumps and power generators within the hardware dealer channel.

  • Expand and manage a strong network of hardware dealers, distributors, and retailers across assigned regions.

  • Identify new dealer prospects and oversee dealer onboarding, training, and performance management.

Dealer & Distributor Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with hardware dealers and key distributors.

  • Conduct regular dealer visits to review sales performance, stock levels, pricing, and merchandising execution.

  • Implement dealer incentive programs, promotions, and sell-out activities to drive demand.

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify new business opportunities, market gaps, and competitive threats within the pumps and generator market.

  • Monitor competitor pricing, product offerings, and channel activities to support strategic decisions.

  • Support new product launches and ensure effective market penetration through dealers.

Sales Execution & Reporting

  • Achieve sales targets in terms of revenue, volume, and market coverage.

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review.

  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.

Requirements

Job Requirements:


Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 810 years of sales experience, preferably in water pumps, generators, electrical products, tools, or building materials.

  • Proven experience managing hardware dealer or retail distribution channels.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of dealer sales operations, pricing structures, and retail dynamics.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and dealer performance.

  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.

Personal Attributes

  • Results-oriented, hands-on, and commercially driven.

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence dealers and internal teams.

  • Willingness to travel extensively to manage dealer networks and support sales activities.
