Sales Planning Manager

Overview

We are looking for a Manager, Sales Planning to lead sales forecasting, planning, and vehicle distribution strategies. This role ensures the right stock levels across dealer networks by analyzing market trends, sales performance, and customer demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand.
• Develop monthly and annual sales forecasts based on historical data and market insights.
• Identify risks and opportunities that may impact demand (e.g., policy changes, new product launches).
• Monitor forecast accuracy and improve forecasting methods.
• Set monthly sales targets aligned with business plans.
• Work closely with the sales team to validate market plans.
• Track sales performance and recommend corrective actions when needed.
• Prepare planning and performance reports for management.
• Support budgeting and revenue planning with the finance team.
• Plan and manage vehicle allocation across nationwide dealer networks.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Develop distribution strategies based on demand forecasts.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in sales planning, demand forecasting, or automotive distribution.
• Experience in automotive OEM or distributor environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
