SALES MANAGER

Role Description

This is a full-time Sales Manager role at Antstec Sdn. Bhd. The Sales Manager will be responsible for project bidding with the tendering team, analyzing customer requirements, providing exceptional customer service, communicating with stakeholders, and driving sales. This is a hybrid role, located in Simpang Ampat with flexibility for some remote work.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain close relationship with new and existing clients.
  • Create and implement sales strategies to meet Company's sales targets.
  • Analyse and identity market and product trends, market opportunities and follow-up closely.
  • Perform analysis of customer's business requirements and propose best available solution/ product mix and appropriate system to meet or exceed customers needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering team to visit customer sites and interface with appropriate customer contacts.
  • Lead and oversees tender or proposal preparation.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers.
  • Ensure contracts are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Manage contract renewals and extensions.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement, present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with product development teams to align sales efforts with product launches.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.
  • Stay up to date on all relevant products/ system within the industry, including systems integration aspects and technical solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Automation) or equivalent with minimum 5 years of Project Sales experience.
  • Experience in the industry relevant to PLC, HMI, SCADA system, Low voltage and instrumentations.
  • Able to read technical datasheet, technical drawings, electrical circuit and wiring etc.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills: In person meetings, email, phone calls.
  • Strong technical aptitude, highly knowledgeable of latest relevant industry product, solution and system.
  • Proven track record with previous sales experiences.

Requirements:

  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English.
  • Good team player, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as a team.
  • Attention to details and able to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment with multitasking capabilities.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills.
  • Based in Penang, willing to travel whenever is required.
  • Permanent, full-time basis.
