SALES & SERVICE ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL)
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems
- Ability to perform PLC programming, troubleshooting and commissioning
- (Mitsubishi/ SCADA will be an added advantage)
- 12 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in instrument calibration (e.g. UTI Tape, Gas Detector and other electrical instruments)
- Good understanding of electrical systems, circuitry and industrial automation
- Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and PLC logic
- Familiar with engineering software or willing to learn
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Strong communication, negotiation and customer-handling skills
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Punctual, medically fit, dependable and reliable
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good subordinate to superior, capable leader to subordinates and strong team player
Job Description
- Work closely with technicians and engineering team members
- Carry out PLC programming, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning activities
- Perform calibration, installation, maintenance and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Provide technical support and solutions to customers related to PLC and control systems
- Liaise with clients and calibrators on service, calibration and repair works
- Coordinate and order spare parts required for calibration and repair activities
- Maintain strong knowledge of company products, services and PLC applications
- Prepare daily engineering reports and provide updates via internal communication channels
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time
