Overview
The Sales Support Executive/Coordinator (APAC) plays a pivotal role in driving commercial effectiveness across the region by supporting the sales team with quotations, pricing coordination, regional customer communication, and crossmarket logistics documentation. This role helps accelerate business growth by ensuring operational feasibility, highquality proposals, and a strong customer experience across multiple AsiaPacific markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Operations & Administrative Support
- Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and commercial proposals for customers across APAC, ensuring alignment with regional pricing guidelines.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for APAC accounts, including pipeline updates, activities, and forecast data.
- Generate country and regionspecific sales dashboards, revenue reports, and performance analytics.
- Coordinate internal approvals for special rates, APAC trade lane pricing, and credit terms.
2. Regional Customer Coordination
- Serve as a primary regional point of contact for clients, supporting inquiries across multiple countries (SEA, South Asia, North Asia, Oceania).
- Assist with onboarding APAC customers, ensuring alignment on requirements such as trade lane details, customs documents, compliance needs, and operational handover.
- Support postsales follow-up across markets, working with local operations teams in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Japan, India, Australia, and others.
3. Pricing, Trade Lane & Proposal Support
- Collaborate closely with regional pricing teams, ocean/air carrier procurement, and local country offices to secure optimal rates.
- Build compelling APAC-specific presentations and logistics solution proposals tailored to regional customer requirements.
- Analyze shipping patterns across major APAC trade lanesIntraAsia, TransPacific, AsiaEuropeto support optimized solutions.
4. CrossFunctional Coordination Across APAC
- Liaise with regional operations, customs teams, warehousing, and lastmile networks to confirm service feasibility for each market.
- Support the implementation of new APAC accounts, including operational setup, SOP creation, and internal kickoff coordination.
- Track region-specific shipment execution for key accounts when required.
5. APAC Market & Business Intelligence
- Monitor and report APAC logistics trends such as rate volatility, capacity constraints, regulatory changes, Free Trade Agreement updates, and competitive pricing.
- Provide insights to sales managers to improve countrylevel and regional sales strategies.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related fields.
- 25 years of experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, 3PL, transportation, or supply chain sectors within APAC.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of APAC logistics processes (air and ocean freight, customs clearance, trade compliance, warehousing).
- Familiarity with key APAC trade lanes and customs regulations.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, and quoting systems.
- Ability to work across multiple cultures, time zones, and languages.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
