Salesforce Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment, support, and maintenance activities.
2. Design, develop, and implement solutions on the Salesforce Service Cloud platform.
3. Build customized Salesforce solutions using:

• Apex (Triggers, Classes, Batch Jobs)
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Aura Components
• Visualforce (where applicable)

1. Configure and customize standard Salesforce Service Cloud features:

• Case Management
• Omnichannel Routing
• Knowledge Base
• Service Console
• Entitlements & Milestones

1. Implement automation using:

• Flows (Flow Builder)
• Process Builder (Legacy Support)
• Approval Processes

1. Customize page layouts, validation rules, workflows, dashboards, and reports.
2. Manage Salesforce integrations including:

• REST APIs
• Inbound & Outbound Integrations
• OAuth Authentication
• Named Credentials

1. Handle data management and security activities:

• Data migration and data quality management
• Data integrity maintenance
• Role hierarchies, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules
• Compliance with governance and security standards

1. Ensure testing and deployment effectiveness:

• Develop unit tests with high code coverage
• Support SIT/UAT and defect resolution
• Manage deployments using CI/CD tools such as Copado, Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps

1. Collaborate with clients, onsite/offshore teams, and stakeholders for impact analysis and solution delivery.
2. Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Service Cloud
• Expertise in Apex Programming
• Experience with LWC and Aura Components
• Knowledge of Salesforce Architecture & Data Model
• Experience in Salesforce Integrations and APIs
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and workflows
