- Handle daily sample requests from Perfumery, Evaluation, and Sales teams.
- Prepare fragrance samples accurately according to required specifications.
- Label and code samples correctly to maintain traceability.
- Track and record the quantity of fragrance oils and update the information in the system accordingly.
- Pack samples securely according to internal packing standards.
- Coordinate with sales support team for dispatch.
- Ensure samples are delivered to customers on time and with proper documentation.
- Manage the Kardex where fragrance oils are stored.
- Organize oils systematically for easy retrieval during sampling and application work.
- Track and monitor oil shelf life, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
- Discard expired oils accordingly and following the safety guidelines.
- Maintain updated records of active, used, and expired oils.
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the sampling area.
- Refill materials such as bottles, caps, pipettes, solvents, and labels.
- Assist in inventory checks for sampling materials and consumables.
- Facilitate the safe disposal of laboratory waste under Scheduled Waste Regulations.
- Maintain accurate sampling and dispatch records.
- Assist with data entry for stock, materials usage, and sample dispatch logs.
- Ensure consistency between physical stock and digital records.
- Follow laboratory and environment safety, PPE requirements, and handling and disposal procedures for oils and chemicals.
- Adhere to internal SOPs for sampling, packing, and oil management.
- Report any safety concerns, damaged materials, or inventory discrepancies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum SPM / Diploma in Science or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic English for reading instructions and simple communication.
- Basic IT Computer Skills; Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Basic IT Computer Skills; Ability to update logs and simple databases
- Experience in sampling, packing, or general laboratory work (advantage).
