Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & ABAP Delivery Oversight

- Lead SAP ABAP development across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, EWM, MDG, Fiori/UI5, and other integrated systems.

- Manage incidents, service requests, enhancements, and WRICEF object delivery.

- Ensure adherence tocoding standards and technical guidelines.

Onsite Focal Point & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary onsite technical lead forIT and business teams.

- Provide daily updates, manage escalations, ensure SLA/KPI compliance.

- Work with functional teams to refine technical requirements and support testing.

Development Governance & Quality Management

- Review FS/TS documents for completeness and accuracy.

- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and quality checks.

- Ensure compliance with DevOps and change management processes.

Enhancement & Project Support

- Support S/4HANA transformation, interface optimization, Fiori/UI5 modernization, and BTP integration.

- Provide ABAP expertise during blueprinting, build, testing, and cutover.

Technical Expertise & Problem Solving

- Lead RCA for recurring technical issues.

- Troubleshoot ABAP, HANA SQL, OData, IDocs, RFCs, and integration performance.

People Leadership & Collaboration

- Mentor onsite/offshore developers.

- Promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and capability building.

- Collaborate with Basis, Security, Integration, and Functional teams.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

- Identify automation opportunities.

- Recommend modernization initiatives aligned with IT strategy.
