About the role:
We are delivering a multi-year S/4 Transformation Program with phased go-lives from July 2027 through 2030. In parallel, our analytics landscape is being modernized through migration of selected SAP ECC and BW reports to a Cloud Service Platform (CSP), migration of on-premise data to a cloud data lake, and retrofit/repointing of dashboards to ensure reporting continuity during S/4 cutover. A high-level analytics blueprint has been completed, retired reports have been identified, and the program is now in detailed design and execution planning.
We are seeking a SI / Consultant to define and operationalize analytics strategy, guiding principles, delivery planning, and governance across analytics, data lake, and dashboard workstreams under a tight S/4 timeline.
Responsibilities
Analytics & Reporting Migration
- Define guiding principles and migration approach based on business priorities and S/4 deployment waves.
- Lead detailed design, prioritization, and sequencing of report migrations from ECC and BW to the CSP analytics solution.
- Govern development standards, data quality, performance, and testing across migrated reports.
- Manage dependencies between report migration, S/4 readiness, and data availability.
Data Lake Migration
- Define the data and analytics strategy for the cloud data lake in alignment with S/4 and reporting needs.
- Lead planning and governance of data lake migration in partnership with AWS.
- Ensure migration from on-premise to cloud is aligned to S/4 milestones and analytics consumption timelines.
- Manage cross-stream dependencies across S/4, analytics, and data platforms, including data readiness and integration.
Dashboard Retrofit / Repoint
- Define the dashboard strategy to support S/4 cutover, hybrid, and dual-run scenarios.
- Govern the retrofit and repointing of dashboards across ECC, BW, and S/4.
- Plan and support cutover, go-live, and stabilization activities to ensure uninterrupted reporting.
- Apply consistent governance, testing, and release management across dashboard changes.

Qualifications
- Proven SI experience delivering analytics and data initiatives within SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
- Strong expertise in SAP ECC/BW analytics, CSP-based analytics platforms, and AWS data lake environments
- Demonstrated strength in strategy definition, delivery planning, and governance leadership
- Experience managing complex, multi-year, phased programs with tight timelines
Engagement Model
This is a long-term SI engagement aligned to the S/4 rollout. The SI will operate as a strategic delivery partner, responsible for defining analytics strategy and embedding planning and governance across Analytics & Reporting Migration, Data Lake Migration, and Dashboard Retrofit/Repoint in close collaboration with internal teams and AWS.
