You are required to have a solid understanding of SAP BODS architecture and workflows, with a strong grasp of SQL for data manipulation and transformation. Your role will involve working closely with the Front-Line IT, Financial Operations and other IT source teams in supporting the current BODS interface between Central Finance and ERPs. You will be reporting directly to IT Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP BODS operations around data migration, integration, and transformation projects.
- Monitor job execution, troubleshoot issues, and resolve errors in collaboration with Basis and security teams.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality.
- Manage Local and Central Repositories for version control and release management.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data flows.
- Support deployment and post-implementation activities including monitoring and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 23 years of experience working with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) in a support role.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
- Familiarity with version control tools and deployment best practices.
- Working knowledge of SQL (preferably in Oracle, SQL Server, or SAP HANA environments).
- Working knowledge of finance modules in any ERP system.
- Knowledge of data governance and metadata management tools
