Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and advanced proficiency in SAP EWM. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP EWM solutions that optimize warehouse operations and align with supply chain objectives. This role involves end-to-end solution development, stakeholder collaboration, system integration, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Configuration
Lead the design, customization, and configuration of SAP EWM to meet business needs.
Develop innovative warehouse management application solutions that enhance efficiency, inventory control, and automation.
Align SAP EWM functionalities with overall supply chain processes.
Testing & Deployment
Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, UAT) of SAP EWM functionalities and ensure deployment readiness.
Validate solutions against functional requirements and address issues through root cause analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with stakeholders across warehousing, logistics, IT, and procurement to gather requirements and deliver SAP EWM solutions.
Provide technical insights and functional expertise in cross-module processes involving MM, SD, and TM.
Continuous Improvement & Optimization
Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to drive operational excellence.
Stay updated with SAP EWM innovations, industry trends, and best practices to improve system capabilities.
Integration & Interfaces
Manage interfaces and integrations with ERP, third-party logistics (3PL), automation systems, and RF (Radio Frequency) devices.
Ensure seamless data flow and process synchronization between SAP EWM and core SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules.
Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing
Mentor junior consultants and provide guidance on SAP EWM best practices, configurations, and documentation standards.
Foster a collaborative team environment through continuous knowledge sharing.
Support & Documentation
Provide post-implementation support and issue resolution.
Create detailed system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM in configuration, implementation, and support roles.
Advanced proficiency in SAP EWM, including:
Inbound and Outbound Processing
Warehouse Structure and Layout
Picking, Packing, and Putaway Strategies
Physical Inventory Management
RF Integration and Handling Units
Cross-docking, Wave Management, Yard Management (optional)
Experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP EWM implementation.
Strong knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA integration.
Familiarity with ABAP debugging and collaborating with development teams.
