Job Description

FICO Support :

APPLICATIONS IMPLEMENTATION AND DEVELOPMENT 

Assess business IT requirements and translate them into effective solutions, providing valuable insights for implementation planning and budget considerations within the SAP Financial Controlling (FI/CO) module. 

Participate in the evaluation, selection, and procurement of technologies, solutions, and service providers to ensure the availability of appropriate platforms and resources aligned with project objectives and timelines. 

Design, develop, enhance, and deploy SAP Financial Controlling (FI/CO) applications using cost-effective and efficient technologies, ensuring alignment with business needs, operational requirements, governance standards, and change management procedures.

Participate in and support mini-projects or system enhancements assigned by the ICT team, contributing to successful delivery within scope and timelines. 

APPLICATION ENHANCEMENT AND MAINTENANCE 

Provide post-Go-Live maintenance and support for the SAP Financial Controlling (FI/CO) module, ensuring adherence to agreed service levels, budgetary and governance guidelines, and support procedures. This includes managing incidents, resolving system issues, addressing business user inquiries, identifying required system patches for compliance, determining data archiving requirements, and driving continuous system performance improvements to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

Serve as the focal point for Business-as-Usual (BAU) support for the SAP FI/CO module, managing and troubleshooting incidents and service requests submitted via ticketing systems, email, or collaboration tools, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs 

Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures. Collaborate with SAP Principal Support and internal IT teams to resolve platform-level and integration-related problems effectively. 

Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, particularly those related to Treasury operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial processes. 

Maintain comprehensive documentation of system processes, configurations, issues, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing, audit requirements, and continuous improvement.

Developing and strategizing solution vision and innovation by aligning business requirements with technology in delivering business value.

Creatively utilizing information and technologies amidst the fast pace of ICT technology changes through leveraging application systems/ tools in ways where its balances the expectations and dynamics of the business and technology i.e. sophistication, timeliness and costs, with the availability of sufficient and right-skilled resources being a critical prerequisite.

Integrating various technologies, solutions and diverse industry landscape within the MISC Group with different business requirements, expectations and budget in delivering secure and reliable business solutions.

Ensuring support and maintenance activities comply with ICT service level agreements and adopt best practices in ICT service level management with the relevant stakeholders.

EXPERIENCE: 

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience supporting SAP Financial Controlling (FI/CO) in both ECC and S/4HANA environments.

Experience with and strong familiarity in integrating third-party systems (e.g., Coupa, Ariba) with ERP platforms.

Familiarity with ticketing and incident management systems such as BMC Helix, ServiceNow, and Jira, along with a solid understanding of the ITIL support framework.
