Job Description
As an SAP Finance / Controlling Consultant specializing in the FI (Finance) module, your central role will involve supporting and consulting Würth Group companies primarily in the Asia-Pacific region, with occasional engagements worldwide. This position is key to driving finance and controlling business process improvements through strategic SAP technology applications, directly contributing to our global operational efficiency and innovation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a customer-centric, support-driven individual who thrives in a team environment and is proficient in handling customer IT incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide second-level SAP support in the FI module, alongside a proficient understanding of SD, MM, and WM modules, to Würth Group companies across the Asia-Pacific region and occasionally on a global scale.
- Utilize foundational knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling to bolster business management solutions.
- Lead Finance business process enhancements, aligning IT solutions with the strategic objectives within the Würth Group.
- Deliver comprehensive training and support, improving user experience and SAP system functionality across the organization.
- Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to travel as needed to provide support to our clients.
- Collaborate closely with the other support teams to facilitate swift resolution of customer issues. Also to ensure compliance with standards and policies of the Würth Group.
- Coordinate closely with the central Group Functions such as Controlling and Audit to ensure compliance with standards and policies of the Würth Group.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in Finance or Controlling is also acceptable, provided there is a strong affinity for IT solutions.
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in SAP, with a strong focus on the FI module; key-user expertise may also be considered sufficient.
- Comprehensive insight into Finance, Controlling and financial auditing processes
- Proficiency in English; German language proficiency would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
