SAP MDG Operations Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Operations Lead to manage and deliver Master Data Governance (MDG) operations, enhancements, and governance initiatives within an enterprise SAP landscape.

The ideal candidate will act as the primary onsite MDG focal point, working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and governance committees to ensure high-quality master data processes aligned with organizational standards and S/4HANA transformation objectives.

1️⃣ MDG Operations Leadership

• Lead delivery of SAP MDG operations, including incidents, enhancements, and change requests
• Manage MDG workflows, BRF+, validations, derivations, and data models
• Support Change Request (CR) lifecycle management
• Ensure alignment with enterprise master data governance standards
• Monitor SLA compliance and operational performance

Master Data Governance & Data Quality

• Define and enforce data governance frameworks and policies
• Support data stewardship forums and governance committees

Resolve master data issues including:

• duplicates
• inconsistencies
• lifecycle gaps
• Define governance KPIs and monitoring processes

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years SAP experience with 5+ years in SAP MDG

Strong hands-on experience in:

• MDG workflows
• BRF+
• Data models
• Validations & derivations
• Experience with DRF replication & data distribution
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Experience supporting AMS environments
