SAP MM Consultant

Role Description

This is a 12 Months (Extendable) contract on-site role for a SAP Materials Management Consultant at Virtual Calibre Group in Malaysia. The Consultant will be responsible for Materials Management, SAP Warehouse Management, Business Process analysis, and utilizing analytical skills in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) to support client projects.

Job Description: The SAP MM (Material Management) Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of SAP MM modules for clients. The role involves gathering business requirements, configuring SAP MM to meet those needs, and working closely with business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and optimization of the material management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the implementation of SAP MM for client projects.
• Gather business requirements, conduct workshops, and translate them into functional specifications.
• Configure SAP MM modules (Material Master, Inventory Management, Purchasing, etc.).
• Design and execute system tests, ensuring proper integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP SD, SAP WM).
• Provide user training and create user documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues during the implementation phase and assist with issue resolution.
• Collaborate with project teams, developers, and end-users to ensure smooth implementation and support.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience with SAP MM configuration and implementation.
• Strong understanding of material management processes, inventory management, procurement, and vendor management.
• Experience in gathering requirements, gap analysis, and business process design.
• Good knowledge of SAP integration with other modules like SAP SD and SAP WM.
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.
• Ability to lead small teams and work collaboratively within a project setup.
