Job Title: SAP MRP Consultant
Role Summary:
The SAP MRP Consultant will be responsible for driving adoption of material requirements planning (MRP) across business units for a client in South Asia.
This role will work closely with the client's regional industrial performance teams and end-users to successfully roll out MRP usage.
Location: KL, Malaysia with travel to Thailand.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Prioritizing MRP adoption is essential across all client sites in South Asia.
- Conduct training sessions to skill up the client's regional performance teams on various aspects of MRP including master data, configuration, transactions etc.
- Create training materials and user manuals to enable the client's planners, production managers and other end-users to effectively use MRP in SAP. -
- Deliver end-user training through workshops and on-the-job training on SAP modules like Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP) and Warehouse Management (WM).
- Understand the client's internal business processes related to MRP planning, material valuation, production and supply chain.
- Provide functional and technical expertise on the client's SAP architecture, modules, integration and assist with MRP configuration.
- Collaborate with the client's IT team and global CoE to ensure optimal solution design and knowledge transfer. - Facilitate a Train-the-Trainer program within the industrial performance team.
Key Skills and Experience: -
- 3 to 5 years of experience in handling SAP MRP implementation and training projects
- In-depth knowledge of SAP MM, PP and WM modules with MRP configuration expertise
- Strong analytical skills and process orientation
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to conduct training programs
- Experience in creating training documentation and demo simulations
- Relevant SAP certifications like SCM or SAP S4/HANA recommended
- OMP certification is a prerequisite.
