Purpose
As the SAP S/4HANA FICO Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding customer business processes and information needs, identifying, proposing, and driving SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions that support business requirements within the project scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, design, build, and oversee the implementation and rollout of SAP S/4HANA FICO solutions.
- Configure and support:
- Banking interfaces
- Bank statement processing and clearing
- AP/AR payment and collection interfaces
- Payment outputs (checks, payment advice, remittance advice)
- Controlling Area configuration
- COPA optimization
- Local legal and taxation requirements
- E-invoicing solutions
- Gather business requirements and develop functional solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and solution design documentation.
- Support test planning, execution, and defect resolution.
- Design and support interfaces between SAP and third-party systems.
- Act as the deployment focal point for assigned data migration objects.
- Coordinate with Business Data Owners (BDOs) to ensure successful data migration before go-live.
- Analyze data readiness reports, identify issues, and coordinate resolutions with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business users, project managers, and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project milestones and provide timely status updates.
- Ensure smooth transition of solutions to support and operations teams after project completion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Finance & Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of SAP FICO experience.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations.
- Strong understanding of Finance, Controlling, Cost Reporting, and cross-functional business processes.
- Experience in SAP configuration, business process analysis, and solution design.
- Knowledge of data migration, UAT, testing, and deployment activities.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Mandarin language proficiency is an added advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and work in Agile environments.
- Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, or Automotive industries is preferred.
