Reporting to the Group Head of IT, the incumbent is in charge of SAP system support activities and act as focal point within the organization for support, configuration and enhancement of SAP Material Master, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Quality Management, Commodity and Production Planning modules in SAP HANA Infrastructure. He/She also provides senior functional leadership for SAP SCM (MM/WM/IM/PP/QM/PM) on S/4HANA, governance and country rollouts and drive crossmodule design authority ensuring endtoend integration with FI/CO, SD and controlling/reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Provides specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP solutions in the MM/WM/IM/PM/PP/QM modules of SAP HANA.
- Functional Depth (Illustrative)
- MM/WM/IM: templatelevel design for procurement, inventory and warehouse operations; governance of LIV/GRIR and valuation.
- PP: enterprise MRP orchestration, plantoproduce variants, capacity planning; recipe/version management.
- QM: groupwide inspection strategies, usage decision policies, integration touchpoints to SD/PP/MM.
- PM: maintenance strategy, task list governance, preventive/corrective programs; KPI definition.
- Support production configuration and assist in functional change request. Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Support business implementations by sharing best practice configuration skills.
- Assist with responding to user requirements, problem resolution, develop designs, and process modeling via ServiceDesk (ManageEngine)
- Develops functional specifications and works with BASIS and ABAP personnel resources to complete object development and testing.
- Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for MM/WM/IM/PM/PP/QM related processes via ServiceDesk (ManageEngine)
- Ability to co-ordinate and interact with multiple teams.
- Ability to help resolve complex technical issues and independently manage critical/complex situations.
- Work with SAP to resolve software bugs.
- Participate in release upgrade or new functionality / enhancement assessments and make recommendations.
- Provides leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering or equivalent; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage
- 710 years endtoend delivery across MM/WM/IM/PP/QM/PM with proven S/4HANA experience.
- Multisite/country rollout with localization exposure (tax/legal/commercial documents).
- Extensive integration with FI/CO and SD including intercompany, shipment costing, GR/IR, and periodend impacts.
- Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configuration, writing detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transport to production, and post-go live support.
- Experience in S/4HANA working environment will be an added advantage.
- Expert SDLC and program delivery: governance, risk/issue management, stakeholder alignment and benefits realization.
- Ability to steer custom solutions (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows) and enforce naming/quality standards.
