SAP SD/MM Consultant

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to lead the configuration, optimization, and support of our Sales and Distribution module. This role is critical in managing the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) process and ensuring seamless integration across MM and FI modules. You will act as a strategic partner to the business, translating complex distribution requirements into robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full-cycle configuration of the SAP SD module, including Enterprise Structure, Master Data (Customer/Material), Pricing (Condition Technique), Account Determination, Output Determination, and Billing.
- Analyze existing business processes within the marine and industrial context. Propose and implement best-practice solutions to enhance efficiency in inter-company sales, Stock Transfer Orders (STO), third-party processing, and consignment stock.
- Participate in the full SAP lifecyclefrom initial blueprinting and requirement gathering to go-live and hyper-carefor new subsidiaries and system upgrades.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications for custom developments. Collaborate closely with ABAP developers to ensure technical objects meet business needs.
- Ensure tight integration between SD, MM (Inventory/Availability), and FI (Accounting/Credit Management). Manage complex rebate and commission structures.
- Liaise with Sales, Logistics, Warehouse, and Finance teams to gather requirements. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and develop comprehensive user manuals and training sessions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- SAP Certification in SD is highly desirable.
- 58 years of SAP SD consulting experience with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
- Proven background in the Distribution or Industrial sectors is highly preferred.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (On-premise or Cloud) is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in Output Determination (IDocs, Smart Forms), Credit Management, and FI-AR integration.
- Deep experience with Inter-company sales, STO, and Variant Configuration.
- Familiarity with ASAP or Agile methodologies. Exposure to EDI and middleware (SAP PI/PO) for customer integrations is a plus.
