Key Roles & Responsibilities :
- SDWAN Network Engineer will be primarily responsible for planning, designing the network, configuration and implement as per customer requirement and document the same
- The support of SDWAN solutions such as Cisco Viptela, Silverpeak and Velocloud.
- Based on high level design provided by customer and solution manager, engineer need to prepare configuration, collect network information and prepare low level design detail
- The engineer will be responsible for making sure that all client support cases are met, responded, and resolved in a timely manner without breaching the SLA
- Create templates that can be used to push to all sites. Experience with deployment profits, templates and pushing them to all branch locations and onboard the devices
- Strong experience with SDWAN routing protocols OSPF and BGP
- Should have good knowledge of cisco networking technologies such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, HSRP, VRRP, LAN/WAN, etc
- Required to follow up with clients, have joint troubleshooting sessions with the client to help achieve speedy solutions
- Engage with partners for pre-staging, cross check the configuration/pre-check logs before installation or delivering the equipment to respective country partner office.
- Strong ability and desire to learn new technologies and capability to drive innovation are absolute must
- Hands on experience on Cisco SDWAN/Viptela Technology and products
- Good understanding on Routing and Switching and legacy configuration
- CCNA and CCNP Level knowledge
- LAN/WAN Troubleshooting, experience on dynamic routing protocol-BGP, OSPF and static routing protocol.
- Understanding and having knowledge of other SDWAN technology like- Silverpeak and Velocloud is a plus
- Fine tune the SDWAN with industry best practices
