Job Description:

• As an AI Associate in the internal Information Technology department, you will help identify, prototype, implement and support secure AI solutions that improve employee experience, service delivery and operational efficiency across Deloitte Southeast Asia.
• Engage internal stakeholders to understand business processes, define requirements and assess AI opportunities based on value, feasibility, data readiness, risk and alignment with IT priorities.
• Build and test proofs of concept using enterprise AI stacks leveraging generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, automation and agentic workflows, with appropriate human oversight.
• Support the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, including solution design, configuration or development, integration, testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, documentation, training and support.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, application support, risk teams and vendors to deliver solutions that are scalable, maintainable and compliant.
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, relevance, reliability and safety; help define test cases, acceptance criteria, quality measures and improvement actions.
• Apply internal standards for cybersecurity, privacy, data protection, intellectual property, responsible AI, records management and access control throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Monitor adopted AI solutions, maintain audit-ready documentation, analyse usage and performance, provide periodical reporting on AI utilization where required, troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements for reliability, cost and user experience.
• Contribute reusable prompts, components, templates, knowledge articles and demonstrations, and support AI awareness and adoption within the internal IT community.
• Keep current with relevant AI technologies and translate emerging capabilities into practical recommendations for internal use cases across various departments in Deloitte Southeast Asia.

What you'll need to succeed:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in information technology, software development, systems analysis, automation, data or AI solution delivery; fresh graduates with relevant project experiences or strong interest with AI will also be considered.
• Foundational understanding of agentic AI and large language models, including prompting, grounding or retrieval, output evaluation and common limitations such as hallucination and bias.
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming or scripting language, preferably Python, Java, JavaScript, C# or PowerShell, and familiarity with APIs, JSON, source control and basic software development practices.
• Experience in setting up and configuration of Gemini Enterprise, AWS Bedrock, Claude, M365 Copilot.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, process flows, test cases and concise technical documentation.
• Awareness of cloud, identity, information security, privacy and data governance concepts relevant to enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to evaluate AI-generated content critically rather than accepting it at face value.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business users.
• Curiosity, adaptability and a continuous-learning mindset, with willingness to take ownership and work effectively in a team environment.

Great to haves!

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Exposure to one or more of the following:
• Microsoft Azure AI services, Gemini Enterprise, Anthropic Claude, Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI Builder or comparable enterprise AI platforms.
• Prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, embeddings, tool or function calling, or AI agent orchestration.
• Power Platform, UiPath or another workflow and robotic process automation platform.
• SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Graph or other Microsoft 365 integration capabilities.
• SQL, data preparation, analytics, evaluation datasets or dashboarding.
• Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub, CI/CD, Agile delivery and software quality assurance practices.
• Responsible AI, model risk, secure solution design, content safety, monitoring or audit logging.
• Relevant cloud, AI or automation certifications are an advantage.
