About the RoleWe are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist with at least one year of agency experience to join the Cleverly MY team. You'll be responsible for managing SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.
In an agency setting, things move fast. We need someone who can juggle multiple client accounts, communicate technical concepts simply, and stay ahead of the ever-changing Google algorithm.
Key Responsibilities- On-Page & Technical SEO: Perform thorough site audits. Optimize copy, landing pages, and technical elements (meta tags, internal linking, schema markup, and site speed) to improve crawlability and UX.
- Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to guide content teams and uncover new opportunities for organic growth.
- Off-Page Strategy: Execute high-quality backlink building and outreach campaigns.
- Reporting & Analysis: Use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, and tools like Ahrefs to track performance and provide actionable insights for clients.
- Client Management: Assist in preparing monthly performance reports and participating in client calls to explain SEO progress and strategy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the content and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented across the board.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Experience: At least 1 year of proven SEO experience, specifically within a digital marketing agency handling multiple accounts.
- Tools: Proficiency with SEO must-haves: Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and how CMS platforms (like WordPress or Shopify) impact SEO.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to look at a spreadsheet and tell a storyyou don't just report numbers; you explain what they mean.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills (essential for client interaction and outreach).
