Job Purpose & Position Summary
Manage overall production shift performance, to deliver the output with expected quality, motivate line shift supervisor for further improvement, drive team for better productivity and lower cost
Job Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a manufacturing operation section which activities include production.
- Effectively manage human resources to ensure high level of productivity.
- Responsible for quality level of the manufacturing process.
- Manage small group activity & lean manufacturing.
- Manage the budget and cost of the department to ensure that the company is cost-effective in all its operations.
- Formulate plans & lead a team to achieve MFG goals & objectives
- Lead & guide staff to achieve operation/engineering/technical solutions as well as maintain competitiveness
- Other duties as assigned by top management
Impact of Decision:
- Failure to achieve results might cause delays in meeting significant product or program commitments and result in both allocations of more resources and/or significant financial and/or business impact.
- Impact to functional efficiencies (short-term goals).
Job Qualifications
Must Have:
-Education: Bachelor's Degree or above in electrical, electronic engineering or equivalent
-Language: Good oral and written skills in English
-Experience:1012 years work experience, including 58 years manufacturing expertise in a high-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of the manufacturing operations/lean manufacturing concept.
- Project management skills.
- Able to lead across departments and motivate teammates
- Good manpower planning skills
- Strong budget and forecast planning skills
- Strong production planning skills
