M365 Security Engineer (Specialist / Consultant)

Overview
We are looking for an M365 Security Engineer to support the implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 security solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment.
You will work closely with the Architect to deliver secure and efficient deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Microsoft 365 security solutions
- Support deployment and migration activities
- Configure and manage Microsoft Defender security tools
- Manage hybrid identity environments (Azure AD + on-prem AD)
- Troubleshoot identity sync and security policy issues
- Implement data protection and compliance controls
- Monitor system performance and security events
- Support automation and deployment processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Technical Requirements
Identity & Security
- Microsoft Defender for Identity with on-prem AD integration
- Hybrid Identity (Azure AD + on-prem AD)
Security Operations
- Hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Microsoft Defender for Office 365
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
- Microsoft Defender for Servers
Data Protection & Compliance
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Data Lifecycle Management
- eDiscovery
- Auditing
Troubleshooting
- Strong experience resolving:
- Identity sync issues
- Security configuration conflicts
Experience Required
- 3–6+ years in M365 Security / Infrastructure
- Experience supporting 3,000+ user environments
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst (SC-200)
- Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator (SC-400)
Key Performance Metrics (Both Roles)
- Deliver migration of 3,000+ users per month
- High accuracy in LLD documentation and implementation
- Strong POC success rate within 5 working days
- Minimal delays due to technical or configuration issues
