Description

We are seeking a cybersecurity expert with a deep understanding of the current threat landscape. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for the implementation, policies, support, and maintenance of IT infrastructures related to security solutions and services.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain security measures to protect the infrastructure and network from cyber threats
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Monitor systems and networks for security breaches and respond accordingly
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and recommend solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, with a majorin Network/Security.
  • Preferrable 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in the deployment and configuration of firewalls.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.).
  • Flexibility to work with various firewall vendors.
  • Understanding of next-generation firewall features (e.g., IPS).
  • Ability to interpret network flow and network diagrams.
  • Intermediate knowledge of switching and routing.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills related to network security issues.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations.
  • Availability to be on stand-by during non-office hours.
  • Passion for exploring new technologies.
  • Adaptability to work with different teams, new projects, and various technologies.
  • Open to Sarawakians only.
