Key Responsibilities
-Technical Advisory & Solutioning: Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and prospects, focusing on Cyber Exposure, Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, and Risk Management.
-Product Demonstration & POCs: Conduct compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) for company's platform (including Tenable.io, Tenable Security Center, and Nessus).
-Sales Team Partnership: Partner closely with Sales Team to drive sales opportunities, answer complex technical questions, and effectively differentiate company solutions from competitors.
-Needs Assessment: Analyze customer security challenges and business requirements to propose tailored solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the Tenable platform.
-Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success, to share market feedback, promote knowledge sharing, and ensure customer expectations are met.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications
-Effective Communication and Presentation Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including technical teams, security leadership, and non-technical executives. Proven flexibility in conducting product demonstrations and leading technical discussions.
-Technical Security Experience: Proven experience (4+ years preferred) in a security-related technical role, such as Security Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer.
-Vulnerability Management Knowledge: Solid foundational knowledge of vulnerability management principles, network security concepts (TCP/IP), and enterprise-level operating systems.
-Teamwork and Collaboration: Strong commitment to teamwork, with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales, engineering, and customer success teams to achieve shared goals.
-Proactive and Results-Oriented: A self-starter with a proactive attitude, focused on achieving sales and customer success outcomes while maintaining a collaborative approach.
-Japanese Language Proficiency: Superior oral and written communication skills in Japanese (Native-level or equivalent to JLPT N1/N2) are essential for engaging with local customers and partners.
-English Language Proficiency: Business-level proficiency in English (oral and written) for internal communication with global teams.
