Security Engineer – Technology & Cybersecurity Risk

• At least 8 years of relevant experience managing information security and cybersecurity risks.
• Financial institution or banking industry experience is preferred. Candidates with substantial financial industry engagement may also be considered.
• Strong understanding of technology operations, IT controls, cybersecurity risks and cloud environments.
• Experience conducting risk and control assessments, managing audit findings and tracking remediation actions.
• Knowledge of Bank Negara Malaysia's RMiT policy and financial sector regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and senior non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC or CGEIT are advantageous.
