Job Description

Overview Of The Position

The Security & Loss Prevention Executive is responsible for maintaining the physical security and operational integrity of a manufacturing facility. This operational role directly supervises the daily guard force, administers critical access control systems, and conducts routine audits to mitigate loss. By monitoring security technology and collaborating with cross-functional departments such as EHS and HR, the Executive ensures a secure environment and strict adherence to plant safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily execution of the guard force, ensuring guards strictly adhere to site SOPs, post orders, and uniform standards
  • Conduct daily briefings/roll calls with shift guards to communicate current risks, VIP visits, or operational changes.
  • Perform daily unannounced checks on guard posts (e.g., gatehouse, patrol, screening) to ensure vigilance and compliance.
  • Administer the plant's access control system: issue visitor passes, create employee badges, and revoke access for terminated personnel.
  • Execute daily and weekly loss prevention audits, including random checks on shipping manifests, scrap disposal bins, and high-value inventory cages.
  • Perform daily health checks on CCTV and access control systems, immediately reporting offline cameras or faulty doors to the Assistant Manager.
  • Review CCTV footage to gather evidence for minor safety incidents, HR disputes, or missing items
  • Collaborate with the plant's Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and HR departments to align security policies with overall plant safety and compliance goals
  • Compile daily security shift logs into a consolidated daily activity report, highlighting anomalies, safety hazards, and inventory discrepancies.

Job Requirements

  • Need 5 years of work experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Degree in Security Management, safety & health sciences, or engineering studies.
  • Preferred ex-armed forces personnel.
  • Knowledge of TAPA, CTPAT, and ISO 27001.
