Summary
The Security Technology & AI Systems Officer is responsible for supporting and improving the organization's security technology ecosystem, including CCTV operations, AI-enabled security systems, and server infrastructure. This role works closely with the Business Innovation and Digital Technology teams to drive digital transformation, AI adoption, and continuous improvement across security operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.
- Support and monitor AI-powered security applications, analytics platforms, and AI servers, including performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Identify and propose opportunities to apply AI, machine learning, computer vision, and automation to improve security operations.
- Monitor and maintain security-related servers, storage systems, cloud-based applications, and supporting infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues affecting CCTV, AI systems, and security platforms.
- Work with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on system enhancements, digital transformation initiatives, and technology improvement projects.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in CCTV systems, security technologies, IT infrastructure, or related technical roles.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, VMS, NVRs, DVRs, IP cameras, server administration, storage systems, and network troubleshooting.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts, computer vision, intelligent video analytics, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Familiarity with networking, cybersecurity best practices, and infrastructure support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, project coordination, and documentation skills.
- Relevant certifications in AWS, networking, cybersecurity, or CCTV/security systems will be an added advantage.
