Semi Senior Auditor

Key responsibilities

• Assist Audit Seniors and Managers in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements.
• Perform audit fieldwork, including tests of controls, substantive testing, and analytical review procedures.
• Prepare audit working papers and supporting documentation in accordance with auditing standards and firm requirements.
• Ensure audit files are properly documented to support audit findings, conclusions, and opinions.
• Lead and coordinate small to medium-sized audit engagements, ensuring assignments are completed within agreed timelines.
• Communicate effectively with clients to obtain relevant information and resolve audit-related issues.
• Support the supervision and guidance of junior audit team members where required.

Requirements

• A recognised degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification, and/or a professional qualification such as MICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia or CIMA.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in external audit or audit and assurance.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Meticulous, well-organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage audit assignments and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, innovative and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and take initiative in carrying out audit assignments.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Strong sense of integrity, professionalism and a positive working attitude.
