Job Description

  1. Responsible forhandling full set of accounts for multiple companies within the group, mainly involved in theconstruction industry
  2. Oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Department and supervise Account Assistant(s)to ensure accurate and timely accounting work
  3. Managedaily accounting operationsincluding AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and journal entries
  4. Preparemonthly management accounts, financial reports, and balance sheet reconciliation
  5. Review and verifysupplier invoices, subcontractor claims, progress billings, and payments
  6. HandleE-invoice and self-billed invoices, monitor collections and follow up on outstanding receivables
  7. Monitorcash flow position and prepare cash flow projections, especially for ongoing construction projects
  8. Preparetax computations and manage SST/GST submissions
  9. Liaise withexternal auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities
  10. Coordinate withcompany secretary on statutory compliance and corporate filings
  11. Ensure compliance withaccounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures
  12. Support management withfinancial analysis, budgeting, and process improvements
