Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting functions including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), bank reconciliations, invoicing, payments, and payroll across multiple entities.
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping and end-to-end financial operations.
- Monitor and manage cash flow positions, fund allocations, and banking transactions to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with MPERS/MFRS and relevant statutory regulations.
- Ensure timely submission and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Generate monthly, ad-hoc, and annual management reports to support operational control and strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers on audit, tax, and corporate matters.
Qualifications
- Relevant accounting qualification with strong knowledge of local accounting standards and statutory compliance.
- MUST be able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients.
- Proven experience in handling full sets of accounts for SMEs across diverse industries.
- Prior experience in audit firms is highly advantageous.
