Job Description

Account Manager for MCS NES sector is to drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, and ensure the effective promotion of ZEISS's microsurgery solutions. This role is critical in achieving business objectives, increasing market share, and delivering exceptional customer value.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategies

  • Identify and prioritize sales opportunities within the assigned territory to achieve and exceed revenue targets for ZEISS products.
  • Create and implement sales plans that align with organizational objectives and market demands.
  • Analyze customer needs and propose tailored solutions to maximize value for both the customer and ZEISS.

2. Manage Customer Relationships

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, clinicians, hospital administrators, and procurement teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely communication and resolution of inquiries or concerns.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

3. Promote ZEISS Products and Solutions

  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to showcase the features and benefits of ZEISS solutions. Collaborate with marketing teams to organize workshops, conferences, and events to increase product visibility and market penetration.
  • Stay updated on product advancements and communicate new features or updates to customers.

4. Support Clinical Applications and Training

  • Provide on-site and virtual support during product installations, initial cases, and clinical trials to ensure optimal product use.
  • Deliver structured training sessions and in-service education to surgeons, clinicians, and OR staff.
  • Address application-related questions and troubleshoot issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

5. Conduct Market and Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to internal teams to refine sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records of market data and customer feedback to support strategic planning.

6. Account Management

  • Develop account development plan to upgrade ibase, increase share of wallet and leverage on growth plan of customer
  • Execute account development plan according to agreed timeline & provide updates
  • Ensure CRM hygiene & updating of all account information in CRM system
