Responsibilities:
Maintain general ledgers and performs the complete accounting cycle in compliance with accounting standards of the respective countries
Prepare financial statements and documents for conformance with accounting requirements and principle
Tally the daily CTFA reporting
Provide approvals for payments and receipts
Transact with the bank to purchase foreign currency for payment to suppliers, bank and others
Review expenses and conduct analysis of operating expenses and budget variances as required
Manage fixed asset and inventory control including physical verification and reconciliation with GL
Compute sales target and achievement for purpose of sales incentives
Manage vendor receivables
Ensure internal controls are in place and operating effectively in accordance to company standards and government regulations
Oversight of compliance with respective accounting standards
Provide accounting and financial reporting guidance to support business, functional and corporate needs
Direct & Indirect tax compliance including all tax filing and compliance not restricted to VAT and FCWT and CIT filing
Update the new tax policies and disseminate to other departments
Attend to tax audit, data preparation, submission and tax queries
Transfer pricing documentation and compliance
Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements and attend to SOX audit and internal audit queries
Conduct year-end audit reporting
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Possess Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of accounting experiences in MNC environment
Experience with SAP System will be preferred
Strong accounting and technical knowledge
Meticulous, organised and good attention to details
