Job Purpose
Responsible for managing general ledger operations and preparing financial and management reports that deliver timely, relevant insights to support informed decisionmaking and drive business performance.
A glimpse of your daily mission
Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
- Prepare the monthly financial reporting package, including account reconciliations in compliance with company accounting policies.
- Follow up on outstanding reconciliation items to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, collaborating closely with market finance teams.
- Assist in the reporting, consolidation, and analysis of financial results.
Audit & Compliance
- Serve as a key contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local regulatory policies
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of internal controls, processes, and system improvements.
Operational Finance Support
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily finance operational tasks.
- Handle finance-related queries from cross-functional teams and provide required financial support.
Accounting
- Perform payment processing and three-way matching for PO invoices.
- Support PO invoice matching, receipt booking, and related transactional activities.
- Record incoming receipts in compliance with financial policies.
- Manage fixed asset processes, including acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and related documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the AP and AR teams as well as local business units to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform VAT receivable and payable settlement and netting
Ad-Hoc Reporting & Projects
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses, reports, or presentations as requested by management.
- Support ad-hoc activities and participate in finance-related projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years audit experience with one of the Big Four audit firms (mandatory).
- Preferably 12 years of accounting experience in a shared services environment, at the Analyst level.
- Strong IT proficiency, especially in advanced spreadsheet applications and database management.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, with strong strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and solid financial and business planning skills.
- Proactive and result-oriented team player, able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A hands-on and independent individual with strong initiative and adaptability, capable of communicating effectively and collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
- Detail-oriented, matured, and able to multitask effectively.
- Strong organization skills, with the ability to track and manage tasks at a detailed level.
