Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Senior Accounting Associate, located on-site in Georgetown, Penang. The Senior Accounting Associate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining and recording journal entries, and utilizing accounting software (mostly SQL). Additional daily tasks include providing financial support within the accounting department, analyzing financial data, client management and consulting as well as ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Local Malaysian talent is highly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements and Journal Entries (Accounting)
• Strong Analytical Skills and familiarity with Finance and operations
• Experience using various Accounting Software, especially SQL
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to provide financial insights and best-practice recommendations to team and clients
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Ability to read and converse in Chinese is an added advantage
• Team player and ability to multi-task is highly required
