Senior Accounts Executive / VMD Executive

AMOREPACIFIC MALAYSIA are looking for an experienced and motivated SeniorAccounts Executiveand Visual Merchandising Executive.

You will play an important role such as:

1.SeniorAccounts Executive

1. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process supplier invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely payments.

• Prepare and send invoices to customers, follow up on outstanding payments.

• Maintain an accurate record of payables and receivables.

2. Financial Data Entry & Reconciliation

• Record daily financial transactions in accounting software.

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist in reconciling general ledger accounts.

3. Financial Reporting & Support

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).

• Support the finance team in preparing budget reports and forecasts.

• Help compile data for audits and tax filing.

4. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all accounting records comply with company policies and financial regulations.

• Maintain organized financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and contracts.

• Assist in tax filings, GST/SST submissions, and other compliance-related tasks.

5. General Accounting & Administrative Tasks

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Assist in tax filings, and other compliance-related tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience in SAP
• Good understanding of financial principles and accounting standards.
• Self-motivated, result oriented, pro-active, fast learner and team player.
• Good command of English communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in beauty industry / retail business is additional advantage.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and Microsoft Office Skills (Excel)
• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills and is also able to work independently.

2.Visual Merchandising Executive

You will play an important role, such as:

• Accountable for visual merchandising and planogram updates for all stores, Sephora and roadshows. This includes ensuring accurate and timely implementation of floor layout settings.
• Plan, implement and monitor all visual merchandising strategies to enhance the overall shopping experience and increase customer engagement.
• Ensure skincare and cosmetic presentation in align with global creative guidelines.
• Develop display materials while adhering to specified timelines for systematic installation.
• Order, handle, and organize visual merchandising materials by coordinating the purchasing and distribution processes with appropriate management.
• Plan and conduct regular store visits to ensure VM standards are well maintained.
• Provide a pleasant shopping environment by maintaining concept layout, fixtures, and
• navigation in store.
• Develop and execute in-store creative concepts that captivate customers and enhance brand identity.
• Work closely with store operations to ensure efficient implementation of visual merchandising initiatives and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
• Collaborate closely with malls, retailers, and contractors during new store openings, particularly in matters concerning counter/store design. Responsible for liaising with the mall regarding work permit applications and coordinating with installers during transitions or changes.
• Stay up to date with local market trends and propose innovative VM content.

To be successful in this role, you would need to have:

• Master / Degree / Diploma in Creative Design, Graphic Design, or any design-based education.
• Preferably 1 year of experiences as Visual Merchandiser in the retail industry or similar capacity especially in Beauty industry & Fashion industry.
• Fresh graduates/ Graphic Designers are welcome too!
• Proficiency in using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop or other visual design tools to create mock-ups and visual concepts.
• Up to date with the latest industry trends in the retail sector.
• Current working knowledge of building, health codes and compliance issues.
• Demonstrated 3D visualization ability and working knowledge of colour and design principles.
• Ability to balance design, with operational needs and budget objectives resulting in exceptional store environments.
• Proficient in effectively communicating design issues through visual, written, and verbal.
• Ability to translate stated design principles/objectives into unique and varied store locations.
