About CMA CGM FICOM (Finance Corporate Office Malaysia)

Located at Wisma Consplant 2, Subang Jaya, FICOM is the extended team of the Finance Corporate Division of the CMA CGM Group. It serves as the Finance Expertise Center, delivering non-transactional, value-added functions to support the Group's transformation and drive financial performance for key stakeholders.

The FICOM team comprises over 180 local talents, all committed to realizing its vision of being an effective Business Partner to stakeholders and a preferred employer for finance professionals.

About the Role

This role requires adaptability in understanding finance process with different systems used, multiple process contributors, and within the CMA CGM organization's activities.

This role works closely with the Assistant Manager to support communication with process owner and process contributors in drafting the Group finance process documentation (SOP) and harmonizing the process (amongst different business units and systems used).

This position will report to the Assistant Manager, Business Process Management.

Key Result Areas

  • Ensure effective deliverables of all processes assigned according to the road map and project plan
  • Proactive communication of progress and challenges

Key Accountabilities/ Duties

  • Support in Drafting Group finance process documentation
  • Support Assistant Manager in drafting of end-to-end finance process by facilitating workshops with process owners and process contributors to define process scope.
  • Ability to create flowcharts displaying the sequence of finance activities using a specified tool
  • Proactive reporting of progress and key points to direct supervisor, department manager and Head Office Process Governance, including challenges and opportunities.
  • Continuous iteration of the process documentation as new information comes to light.
  • Ad-hoc business activities as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or finance process documentation. Experience in multinational corporations and process documentation is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of Finance processes (e.g., Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Taxation) and accounting.
  • Good verbal communication skills to liaise with process owner and process contributors from various departments/ entities/ countries.
  • Analytical mindset to analyze and interpret information gathered.
  • Able to work independently and be resourceful to seek information.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application.

This is a 6-month contract position.
