Job Responsibilities:
i. Finance
- Execute month-end closing activities, i.e. journal postings, OneStream (OS) submission, in adherence to the monthly closing timeline and checklist.
- Prepare cashflow forecast and monitor bank balance to ensure sufficient liquidity in company.
- Prepare and issue monthly chargeback invoices with detailed cost breakdowns and Statement of Account for each customer.
- Maintain the monthly fixed asset register and collaborate with fixed asset team to ensure proper recording of additions, disposals, and transfers.
- Assist with any new local statutory filing requirements, including e-Invoice.
- Support Finance validation activities for internal control compliance requirements.
- Assist in any other ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by Management.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance and tax-related submissions.
- Support Team Lead in statutory compliance requirements.
- Provide operational support and analytical reporting to Regional and Head Office management.
ii. Tax Accounting
- Execute the day-to-day activities for Singapore GST compliance for the identified legal entities.
- Prepare, analyze and manage filing of GST returns and related reporting obligations.
- Prepare and maintain monthly/quarterly trend analysis to identify inaccuracies, document reasons for MoM and QoQ fluctuations to support potential queries.
- Provide support to finance and other stakeholders on Singapore GST related matters including any ad hoc related requests.
- Assist in any other ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by Management.
- Timely and accurate preparation of quarterly GST returns for the identified Singapore entities.
- Work with stakeholders to resolve issues as needed on a timely basis.
- Perform trend analysis and provide comments on MoM, QoQ and YoY variances.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Accountancy / Finance or holder of a recognized professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA & etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of related / commercial in accounting and finance field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power point)
- Proficiency in accounting applications (E.g. SAP or other similar ERP system)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards and double-entry accounting
- Financial Auditing and Tax knowledge
- Good verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details and accuracy
- Able to multi-task with good time management skills, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
